It’s that time of the year, trees are showering us with nutrients they pumped from deep bellow ground. We find paths which are slopped down, and walk huge piles of leaves downward where we can fill trailers full for the garden.

Well really that time was a few week ago before we all got Covid. Oh well :).
I never knew this, not having lived on several acres with a pet ever in my life before, but cats will tag along on walks far far away from home.
Once the cat starts walking with us, she’s committed. You can tell by her alert attitude when she steps outside of her territory, and you can tell that she depends on us to navigate. It’s not like walking a dog though, she’s with us but from a distance.
It is but a popple but it stands tall. For a brief few minutes of a brief few days, only it gets the Sun’s full attention.
